Sustainability& Wildlife
South Molton in Bloom is committed to improving the environment, encouraging biodiversity and creating sustainable planting across the town.
Through tree planting, wildlife habitats, water conservation and pollinator-friendly planting, we are helping create a greener South Molton for future generations.
Our volunteers work hard to create habitats for birds, bees, butterflies and other wildlife, while also promoting sustainable gardening practices. Across the town we have installed water butts, self-watering planters and wildlife features, and we are grateful to local residents who host water butts and provide access to water supplies to help keep our planting thriving.
Wherever possible, we recycle and reuse materials, transforming unwanted items into planters and garden features. From recycled trolleys and timber to repurposed containers and composting initiatives, we aim to reduce waste while creating attractive and environmentally friendly displays throughout South Molton.
