About Us& History

Sue Harrison started South Molton in Bloom in February 2021, as the town was full of weeds.

Thanks to a collection of hardworking volunteers, the town has now been transformed as you can see from the photos across the website.

The group won Gold in 2021 after only a few months and then again in 2022. We then withdrew from the RHS competition, as we had two major areas taken from us and also had various obstacles to contend with.

However now the community and the council are all drawing together and we are re-entering the competition this year.
