South Molton in Bloom is inviting local businesses and shop owners to take part in our 2026 Shop Window Competition as we celebrate another exciting year for the town.
This year’s competition will coincide with both the RHS South West in Bloom campaign and the South Molton Grand Prix cycle race, creating a fantastic opportunity for businesses to help showcase the town at its very best for residents and visitors alike.
We are encouraging displays to feature:
🌹 Red and white colour themes
⚽ Football-inspired decorations to celebrate the FIFA World Cup
🚲 Cycling themes inspired by the South Molton Grand Prix
🌸 Flowers, planting and creative summer displays
The aim is to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere throughout the town centre while supporting the community spirit that South Molton in Bloom is known for.
Competition Details
🪟 Window displays should remain in place from 1st July to 19th July 2026
🪟 Judging will take place on Thursday 18th July 2026
🪟 Businesses of all sizes are encouraged to take part
🪟 Creativity, colour, originality and overall presentation will all be considered
Prizes have been generously donated by local volunteers and businesses in support of the competition and the ongoing work of South Molton in Bloom.
As an RHS Gold Award-winning group, South Molton in Bloom continues working hard to enhance the appearance of the town and community involvement is a huge part of that success.
