Hospital beds

The Hospital

In 2021 there was nothing there, and at the same time we were experiencing continued vandalism in Central Park. Because of this, we had to remove our raised beds and moved them to the front of the hospital instead, where we painted them the same blue colour as the hospital sign.

We then planted one bed with yellow flowers, making that our Ukraine bed, as at the time some Ukrainians had escaped the war and come to stay in South Molton. Noah, the son of Tina Trevena, took on one of the beds as he is a keen young gardener.

We have changed the other beds over the years from what was originally planted in the park, and now Marie Lodge looks after the hospital beds apart from Noah’s. We are still keeping the Ukrainian theme in one bed as the family is still here.
