The gateway path
Back in 2021, this area was just grass and weeds. The group started by planting along the fence and planting some trees. Then over the years we expanded to over 40 trees both sides of the path plus two massive beds including an astilbe bed sponsored by Marwood Hill Gardens and we placed lots of primrose next to the path. When I moved in here in 2020 we never heard any birds, now we have so many birds, butterflies, hedgehogs and even squirrels. Furthermore South Molton in Bloom have paid for a tawny owl box to be installed at the bottom of the Gateway Path and we hear so many owls now.
